In the early 1960's a gentleman named Robert Luxford had a vision for a new stable in La Crosse. He built what was then called Ridgeview Stables specializing in Hunter/Jumpers and Dressage. He was the first to bring the Trakehner breed to the area. Well into the 70's he ran a full service stable and breeding farm. The stable transitioned through a number of owners over the next 30 years and even included being run as a cattle farm for a short time. 2006 marked a critical time for the stable as it was almost scheduled for the wrecking ball. Fortunately, after much persistence Nancy Gerrard and Rick Staff were able to purchase the stable and begin renovations.
Major improvements were completed in the fall of 2006 and the old Ridgeview stables was off to a fresh start. In the fall of 2008 - along with new stalls and an updated barn - came a new vision and a new name.
